All PhotoForum members are encouraged to have a portfolio of work presented here.

Specs: 8 - 12 images, jpeg, 1500 pixels on long dimension, file size less than 1mb (ideal is 500kb). Please supply captions and a brief text about the work, and a website address for further information and /or purchase. Send to photoforumnz@gmail.com with “member portfolio'“ in the subject line.

We recommend making a cohesive selection from a single body of work, rather than a sampler selection from several projects. If you are a member for multiple years, you may have multiple portfolios. Portfolios will remain on the website, even if your membership lapses.

If you have the means to put captions in the metadata of the images, that would be grand, (the caption field is best, leave the title field blank) but it is not essential. Even if you you have included titles in the metadata, please also supply titles as a word document or in the body of an email. Please include year of image. Here is a sample of ideal caption format:

Artist Name, Title, 2018. (media if appropriate)

It is not essential to supply the files at the 1500 pixel size, we can resize from larger files, but anything smaller will reduce the image quality as viewed on the website.

Images can be attached to your email, or if the files are too large to send by email, send using a file sending service like wetransfer.
