In this exhibition, my partner is a Grey Lynn garden measuring just 12m x 13m.
Not your usual Auckland garden, it has twenty-five trees – many over 15m tall. Its abundant life has inspired my photography and art ever since I first stepped into it ten years ago. I have worked with nature to create poems, calligraphy, careful arrangements, and random effects. I use tools ranging from the best lenses money can buy, to paper hole punches, fountain pens to one-dollar spray bottles, to work drops of ink with fallen petals and leaves from our small Grey Lynn garden.
