Heather Milne is showing work from four South Island collections - Rapaki 2019, Rakaia 2019, Ellesmere/Bushfire 2020, Arthur's Pass 2020 - to create the photographic exhibition Routine Isolation.

As a country, we addressed isolation through different lockdown levels during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Routine Isolation, Heather addresses the concept of isolation as an everyday occurrence in rural New Zealand by exploring themes such as emptiness, nostalgia, and vulnerability.
