Marti and her husband Gerrard together collected works by artists whom she had a relationship with, many of whom she photographed for the landmark publication Contemporary New Zealand Painters A – M by Jim Barr and Mary Barr. The auction contains several of these photographs as well as images for the planned sequel edition which was never published.
