We welcome you to join us in celebrating the publication of Jack Rossie’s first photobook, Mooning the Sun.

"Queer presence and the clap of a photograph fall into one another like lovers. The essence of each other attempting to exist, to be imaged, collides. We all lived together for an approximate period of two years. Myself, Jack, Nat, Tobias, George and Miguel. My friend, and former flatmate, Jack, gifted me images of myself from angles I would not have been able to see without them. These images depicting the materiality of all our experiences, Jack has made into a photobook - Mooning the Sun." (Kat Lang, PhotoForum)

A project of three years in the making, this book is about the love, the grit and the growth held within my close community of friends and former flatmates.

With the generous support of Te Aro Wine.
